The Cattle Collective Launch

The official launch of The Cattle Collective took place in late October at the live exporting industries’ major event, the LIVEXchange Conference 2019 in Townsville. The Cattle Collective was launched with industry support after the success of The Sheep Collective.

The Cattle Collective is a way for cattle industry stakeholders, including producers, truck drivers, stock people, industry bodies, exporters and importers to share accurate information and personal stories about the livestock export industry with the broader community. The premise of The Cattle Collective is to share the importance of animal welfare in all parts of the supply chain and tell the amazing untold stories from a proud sector.

The Minister for Agriculture, Bridget McKenzie commended the movement and respecting founders during the LIVEXchange conference.

“Australia leads the world in livestock export animal welfare, so our industry has every reason to be loud and proud about that.”
